The trend in your buses seems to still be doubledeckers ,open top, hop on and hop off in San Francisco.
I only recommend 'Big Bus', with some reservations, as some of the other doubledeckers bus companies are still using London very old buses instead of new ones !!
Otherwise, there is a new big bus, 45ft, 50+ seats with restroom bus company in Frisco, STORER from Modesto.
Again, not nearly as good as that Seattle company that folded, but trying to do good, along with Mercury and a few others.
Lots of medium and large bus companies have specialized.
Minibus 'MyWay' seems to only have Japanese drivers hauling Japanese guests, very briefly to and from Yosemite Valley on day trips.
Lassen bus has mostly asian drivers.
Kings has mostly asian drivers.
Japanese-Am. Coach 21 hauls a lot of Japanese with mostly asian drivers.
The other bus trend I see in SF is the shift from full size buses, 45fters, some with front and rear steering to get around the City, to much smaller buses and vans.
Great Pacific has been a leader in quality tours in English and many foreign languages for many years with excellent driver-guides able to drive almost anywhere in central California.
A new company is the Love Bus, with old VW vans and fantastic hippie cheerful paint jobs and very good driver-guides.

I wish I could recommend a bicycle tour company for sf as bicycling is Booming due to our Mayor and his safer new multicolor wide bike lanes to the super-famous Golden Gate Bridge or the very large and daytime only!, wonderfully varied, Golden Gate Park, but I don't know them well.
This is just one person's opinion, mine. I love love love Lake Tahoe.

I was in SJ, traveling N. at midnight at 55 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone. Very little traffic. Badly made elevated roadway with rollercoaster ride vs level and a very bad bump in the slow lane going under 280 that has not been fixed in years.
I had worked all day in the warm sweaty sun doing yard work for my parents in Lincoln Glen.
I was exhausted dirty with bloodshot eyes from all the salty sweat dripping into my eyes.

Now for train travel, in case you think it is ancient history.
A few years ago I rode First Class on the Chunnel train. We all sat ,parked outside London, with no fans even. No a/c available. All dressed up and sweating like a ,,, so miserable. Finally the train engines came on and we started moving and going thru the English Channel tube. Nothing to see but gorgeous train interior. That is why I prefer the old reliable big Hovercrafts on the surface.
Once in Fraaance, we stopped again, no fans and sweating in Spring like Crazy. No fans and typical Fr. "no no a/c" in very warm and humid weather. Waiting and waiting ,for what!? Finally at Gare du Nord and Paris 2 star hotel that "we gave away your reservation." Standing in lobby for an hour to show desk manager some True Grit to finally get a shabby room. So besides Amtrak always being late, pulling over on rented train tracks for dumb freight trains probably with one skin frack oil, that would be my worst train travel in a more civilized country.
My best train experience every was the SF to LA-SD "Daylight" and dining car with night sleeper "Lark" train on the California coast, such a beautiful route!! First Class service from mostly black staff, beautiful clean cars and spacious cabins YOU CAN WALK AROUND are a Huge improvement over jet addict travel. The train owner said it did not pay enough to continue service, but we should not let one biz make such large mass transit decisions. Nor the sold out current State Legislature.

First, the 7 switch labels are much too faint. I can only read close up.
Huge design error.
Second, the 7 switch labels are out of logic order in 2 rows of 5 and 2.
In the operation manual, #1 is POWER, not LOCK, which is not mentioned!! Second is MODE, and #3 is THERMOSTAT UP/DOWN ARROWS for 2 buttons. #4 is the TIMER and #7 is OSCILLATE.
But the actual buttons are in disarray!!
Third, this manual covers 4 different heaters, so accurately not mine.
Especially the display screen icons are totally neglected! Idiots. There is no Efficiency in misinformation!!
4th, the top row logically should be POWER, MODE, PAN, CLOCK and LOCK. With the second row 2 buttons for UP and DOWN. Logical.
5th, I like how hot 90 degrees the heater gets and would probably still buy it on Amazon.
I'm going to try "freezer storage" bags.

Third, it took days not hours to set up and download the new phone. One pop up I got was "CPU is overloaded by Google Map. " Talk about who/what is running this new phone!! Is the CPU inadequate?
Fourth, my left edge SIM and Data chip tray jammed on the first day.
Is it robustly designed to handle normal use?
Fifth, my Hotmail emails are being duplicated unnecessarily and unwanted by an identical list of the same emails on Gmail. T-Mobile techs don't know how to fix these serious problems. I am not a tech and my Samsung S7 got much too warm. The S7 and S3 performed similarly, not impressively.
Sixth, have not seen "LTE" yet, just "4G". Why?

Maybe $4000/mo. for an ancient ,not updated apartment? That is $48k a year, in rent. No equity.
