2 strikes for Craigslist !! You can not ask for a "non-smoking" roomie as that is 'discrimination',,, and Many businesses are allowed to post job listings, NO NAME, NO SALARY OR BENEFITS, JUST JOB REQUIREMENTS !!
Do most businesses think the Republicans have already won, and we are headed back to the Dark Ages, part II,,, or worse the Roman Empire, where about half were slaves !!?
"Deregulation" and "trusting business to do the right thing" was Greenspan's excuse, right? Lax law enforcement, let felons and murders out of jail with blanket governor's amnesty in the South, and risky irresponsible bankers that have still not gone to jail or paid enough in fines and penalties for all the worldwide damage they have done in the most recent, 'crash of 2008' !! Who needs laws , right !! (abramoff, madoff, stanford from antigua, etc. etc. etc. on and on , ad infinitum)
What gives !?
You answer the add, honestly, with your name, address, phone number, email address, job history,,, and these ONE WAY, ELITIST , WORKER DISRESPECTING BUSINESSES still do NOT TELL YOU THE NAME OF THE COMPANY HIRING !! And during the 'great recession' too,,,

Oh, right, the right wing wants to take us back to a time when ,,, "Only money matters, and the more money you have, the more you matter."
And more people living on the streets, besides all the mental patients Gov. Reagan allowed to be kicked out onto the street from perfectly safe and humanitarian state mental hospitals all over California.
Most people realize one of the true deficiencies of a two party system; When you are mad at one party after 4 years of limp leadership and want to register your disappointment, if you vote for the other party, the Republicans, you STILL WONT GET ANY SATISFACTION,,, just obstinate like a mule gridlock , and childish irresponsible 'my way or the highway!' from the minority party.
If you are fed up with party vs party, two party bickering and wasting time and opportunity and money,,, and did not like most of the voting public's mistake in voting some Republicans into office, i hope you realize the only solution at this point is to only vote in Democrats.
And if that fails, with a Democrat President and a Democrat House and Democrat Senate, then yes, it is time for a third and even fourth party !!

Wednesday, 20 June, Summer just officially started,,, AND IT IS A HEAT WAVE FOR WEEKS HERE IN SAN JOSE !! AFTER 5PM, AND STILL THE BACKYARD "shade" THERMOMETER IS ,,, OVER 90F !!
Whatever the tv news pretty puppets are saying,,, it is VERY HOT IN SAN JOSE,Ca. !! What neighborhood am i in? South Willow Glen, near Lincoln x Curtner.
Forget the usual evening news sedative whitewash,,, the only 'official' San Jose weather station is at the airport, not that anyone LIVES THERE,,, it is mostly flat and getting more of the cooling SFBay breezes.
No wonder our weather 'reports' seem BOGUS,accurate maybe technically, but misleading, by their cherry picking locations !!
SF's only 'official' weather station is on the warmer side, east side of Twin Peaks in the middle of the City, not the great Foggy cooling N.side by the Golden Gate Bridge,,, nor the very residential W. side of the city, the Sunset and Richmond, and Sea Cliff for the ancient and nuevo riche. SF can have a HUGE RANGE OF WX, but you probably wont hear that on the tv evening news !!
Whatever happened to the "comfort index" including temp., humidity, smog dirty air quality, wind, and dust storms?? Daily forecast high temperature is such a short change and inaccurate description of the range of possible real local weather !! We have had "spare the air" dangerous dirty air days already. Does the usual tv wx info. of the "forecast daily high temperatures" tell anything about that !?

"JOHN CARTER" , the movie, was panned by Critics,, but i Netflix rented the DVD and ,,, REALLY LIKED IT !! Watched it twice for the next 3 nights for a total of 6 times !!
Wish i had seen it on the big screen now,,,
Good story, good acting or certainly good enuf, and good characters as i really liked the king-daughter horn people,,, common Good vs ambitious selfish greedy irresponsible ,hell with all you, Evil is sooo relevant today. Very heroic, with jumping great action.
And the female lead is smoking brunette Hot.

Santa Cruz County, wealthy, well educated, progressive, still only has rat/vector Education and Inspection, but not an Eradication fully funded program, when rats carry diseases, eat car and house wire insulation causing house fires, and eat holes in houses causing $1000s in damages ,,, in neighborhoods like the unincorporated area near all those expensive houses near the Harbor,,, and Capitola, the Gulch, right across the tracks from Depot Hill super expensive neighborhood !!
Santa Cruz County could and should fully fund a vector/rat Eradication program, besides its Education program and minimal Inspection program!!

Wish the Commander in Chief, Mr. Obama, and his #1 Surgeon General, would step up at proclaim with an Executive Order that "Breast feeding of children is a good health essential and will be allowed for military and all, IN PUBLIC IN THE USA henceforth!!"
Then let's see the Republicans shoot themselves in the foot by saying something stupid like "Why oh why can't all women buy imitation breast milk and feed their babies in their own Mansions!?"
