5th generation Californian blows off steam and comments on the last 50 year decline in quality of life, etc. in home state of California. Some good news hopefully.

Why does the Opal Hotel, 1050 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco,,,not ANSWER THE PHONE ??!!
Tried repeatedly to get my friend by phone at this SF hotel, and the Opal Hotel either does not or takes forever to ,,,ANSWER THE PHONE !! What is up with that sloppy biz practice ??
