Why is there so little "affordable housing" like the 30 story Emeryville tower, instead of SF and every other city in the SFBayArea wasting valuable land with only 2-4 story new condos/apartments!!?? We have ENOUGH open pocket, open paycheck, open bank account thieving landlords, thank you very much, local politicians!!

From Petaluma to Hollister, there should be a 30story condo building boom, especially along the Caltrain corridor,  to reduce some of the insane prices on $18k 1953 SJ ranch houses selling for $1.3M and rents skyrocketing over 10% the last 4 years for $600/month 1 br apts now climbing past $2000, for a 1900 building w ancient pipes wires and appliances.

We need to elect every city council to state politician as "pro sf-  strong and effective and popular rent control."

And the SF Bay Area needs to wake up, seeing the huge housing demand caused by Google and Facebook etc, and STOP WASTING VALUABLE LAND ON LOW RISE DEVELOPMENTS AROUND THE BAY !!
