ANOTHER V.A. medical practice that is too antiquated, not progressive, and just slows down the VA system too much: RNs are not allowed to talk to VETERAN patients about their test results, only MDs can!

First,  are there enough quality MDs in the VA for our VETERANS ?
Hell no!

Are VETERAN patients Often left sitting in hospital lobbies for Hours or Waiting for weeks at home because of the medieval VA medical practices?
Hell yes!

So why isn't  progress made in the VA?
Like so many bureaucracies, from the DMV to CalTrans,  same old is "standard operating procedure, sinking."
