It happens all the time,,,with either a "one moment please" that means hours and days without that paid for channel,,,or "to be announced" for CSPAN !? and for DAYS !!
So today is a typical Sunday and i thought i would list all the Comcast cable television channels that do not work today at 1:30pm PCT in Silicon Valley, San Jose, California. Not out in the sticks or rural, but big city and supposed big tech expertise.
1 -channel 22-CSPAN,,,says instead "to be announced"
2 -channel 31- HSN ,,,says instead "one moment plea
3 -channel 34-QVC ,,,says "one moment please"
4 -channel 35-FOOD ,,,says "one moment please"
5 -channel 36-FX ,,,says "one moment please"
6 -channel 42-USA ,,,says"one moment please"
7 - 46-LIFE "one moment please"
8 - 47-A+E
9 - 49-AMC
10- 51-APL,,,(animal planet)
11- 52-FAM
12- 55-DISC
13- 56-CNN
14- 57-HLN
15- 59-FNC
16- 60-MSNBC
17- 71-TRAV
18- 75-CMT
19th channel is #82-GOLF CHANNEL, of just the first 100 channels !!
The station numbers that are not used are 23, 30,44, 78,79,80,83,84,85,86,87,88,89,90,91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 97, and 98,,,or 21 station numbers/channels.
So out of 100 channels, 21% are unused and annoying SO SLOW to skip over,,,and 19% do NOT work ,for either hours or days or weeks,,,that means that only 60% of the channels are used and working,,,and of the 79 of the first hundred that are suppose to work, only 76% work as they are suppose to and 24% of the first 100 channels that are suppose to work, DO NOT !!
Comcast is known for terrible service in this family. We call and they say they will send "a stronger signal" ,,,so for three days we tried that ,,,every day calling the same careless Comcast phone tree. Then they said they would send out a free repair call, but did not.
So i am going to try and talk the family into Dish for tv and Comcast just for high speed internet.
