SQUAW VALLEY,,, the pretty sashed girl employees at the base "promised" us there was enough snow and "100% rock coverage" on the major upper bowls. Huge lie. Rocks poking thru snow all over middle of most ski runs. Damaged my favorite skis. Quit immediately. Left immediately. Will not return.
NORTHSTAR at Truckee,,, often employees at lift in to ski area will lie and say "We have lots of snow and 100% coverage of rocks on all runs."
So done. Bye, liars.
Beware of huge ski theft problem at all Tahoe Basin resorts and ski towns like Tahoe City. Lost my Hart Javelins from stolen from a locked car ski rack.
