IF iwas Governor of California, i would start reducing the Fuel Load by cutting down all Gum/Eucalyptus trees, like Oakland hills over 1000 homes burned 1991 wild-out of control fire!

Cal Fire and National Guard, immediately and statewide.
The tree is too oily, thus too flammable. It grows to fast, so silly foolish people let it grow near their houses for a fast Forest.
It's too messy with peeling bark.
It's non-native and doesn't belong in California.
Scotch broom too.
