Isn't Costa-Hawkins unenforceable, because SF has popular rent control,without means testing and with many many eviction "for owner's family" lie-abuses, and some Bay Area cities just voted in Rent Control in Mt. View and Alameda?
The Anti's for the rental owners threatened, THREATENED All renters with 3 day eviction Without Cause and convert California rental apartments to "short term" vacation rentals in the published state voter pamphlet!! Public Blackmail! How can the Governor and state Supreme Court allow voters to be blackmailed en mass of all their rental opportunity in California!? This is such an invalid tainted vote then, with the payola Legislature afraid to act for the Common Good!
Look to a just Judge now to take down Costa-Hawkins, a law from Sacramento that said "no more city's or counties can have rent control." That law has been violated by these cities recently voting IN rent control!
Voters, informed and uninformed gullible, take heart! Votes still mean something! Lies and dark money will eventually fail.
