Costco only has a tiny amount of Lycra in its Kirkland store brand, taking out the needed polyester.
For me, Lycra doesn't last.
So the 3 pair I have of these stretch out way too much and allow skin to skin contact; They are going to the Goodwill store!

For instance, there was a biotech company in SSF in the 90s and almost all their "part time, no benes" employees Hated working there! They complained to me, their shuttle driver, constantly!  I had to quit that very depressing run on a large Corp campus after a year.

There is another very unhappy company in package delivery on the Peninsula. I use to work there, so I have old direct knowledge. You could Expect to be yelled at Every day ,if you didn't beat the computer in the office with just your brain, no list. If you did beat the office computer, they just added more packages the Next day! "Good work". I talk to the Drivers all the time, "is it still a 3way hate-fest between the drivers and near useless Union about such mundane things as bald tires in the Winter rain, and the Company?" "Yes" is always the answer. Do the night loaders still "toss" your half to 3/4 load on occasionally instead of the "rough sort"?
The answer is always "Yes", in spite of the Union! Recently there was an Employee Driver shooting in the "hub" building; I could have told you that was bound to happen! The stock was private and only managers not drivers could buy it. Then the biggest IPO in US history!

There's another Very unhappy company on the Peninsula now. Employees tell me, "No one likes working here. No one likes their co-workers. It's amazing we get along." People are quitting all the time, in a hurry!  Yet it is a big luxury Corp campus. As an investor, I would think this should be valuable public information. The huge gigantic "Carr" fire in... Redding!! No accurate tv news broadcast mapping of that fire progress. Super expensive losses. And California fire insurance policies are intentionally vague on coverage!, Instead of one page summary, in English, clear and concise, "You house is only 80% covered and none of your belongings, furniture, or cars." Simple, but there is so much fraud and corruption.

And Today MALIBU very very very expensive 'hood is being evacuated!!

And the large city of Santa Rosa suburban wildfire. It wasn't till weeks after the start that helos and drones showed just part of the aerial widespread damage. Zero sirens at midnight because the police didn't want to start a panic!, so some people burned to death in their suburban beds. To this day, California rural residents and authorities have severely underestimated the danger of the Smokey-the-bear fuel load!

It happened year after year with the North Bay fires that burned South and West of Clear Lake with narrow 2 lane county roads. The Napa Valley fire on the East mountains. 1000s lost their houses.

It even happened in San Francisco in October 1989 in the earthquake liquifaction on landfill, 3 story bldgs collapse, in the big Marina District fire. So there should be at least 3 temps ,or 4, for Frisco: the moderate Castro, and the Ocean Beach far West say at the Beach Chalet restaurant, and the Wind Tunnel" of 40-60mph low point occasional breezes at the Fort Point under the Golden Gate(the name of the Sac.River mouth) say. Add maybe Bay View in the poor ,high crime, unpopular SE quarter near 3rd st. Or the Ferry Building near the Bay Bridge.

BEWARE of the High Risk of Fraud in Cruising!

First , the "Cruise Specialists" travel agencies.
Before I went on my first Cruise, the famous and super popular "Inside Passage" up the British Columbia, Canada and Alaska coast, I must have called a dozen of them in a major California city.
RESULTS: They all lied in telling me I would "see lots of Orcas and lots of other whales too in May."
I didn't see 1 Orca and only about a dozen whales in 13 days spent looking out from both sides of the ship!
The schools of small fish usually don't come in that early in the cruise season.
Why don't the travel associations protect the travel agents And the Travelers?
Where are the state Attorney Generals, since this is so common in California and probably all states?
Why are certain businesses clearly under policed, like Travel agencies, and Charter/Tour buses and Limousines, Restaurants in major cruise ship towns?

Second, I got food poisoning in St. Petersburg, a major stop for cruise ships, at one of the "recommended" water view restaurants!  Why doesn't the Public Health depts inspect, signage grade, and more closely regulate these very lucrative, huge crowds passing, restaurants?
I was in food poisoning agony for days!

Third, the very common practice of "bait and switch" in airplane sightseeing the channels or fiords. I went to another major port, extremely crowded Juneau, and asked about a flight in a big engine Beaver or Otter instead of a cramped and tiny Cessna plane I had already flown in years ago.
The operater I chose had a brochure with a big engine Beaver on it but after I paid told me, "Lots of people cancelled, so if you want to go we will be using a (small, underpowered, cheaper, cramped) Cessna instead of the Beaver you signed up for. Ok?"
It was getting late and I really wanted to see the Inside Passage from the air for just 1 hour, so I agreed.
2 women and I were crammed into a very small and very tiny engine Cessna floatplane with a fat middle aged pilot! I really feared the passenger weight would keep us on the water, unable to take off! But the tiny Cessna engine whined and we took a long splashing run to finally, just barely enough power, get into the air and start to very slowly bouncing climb and head inland slowly! I sat in the second row and worried about swimming in the very cold water the whole time. The pilot was skilled but the little light plane bounced in the air currents a lot! Will we all get airsick ,,,?  When we landed, I did Not tip! I noticed most airplane sightseeing companies at this major cruise ship port reserved the "right" to change planes. Never again!

Fourth,  I booked a cruise ship to see a certain advertised route,  including Glacier Bay.
That was "cancelled" with no appropriate refund amount to me!
Grrr.
I had paid over $1000. for a "luxury ship".
I call that "false advertising".

Fifth,  There were many "personnel problems" I observed on the cruise ship and just tried to look the other way from the public swearing and yelling.
I was their paid in full before "onboard" captive for 13 days ,so tried to make the best of every Very Expensive day of cruise ship travel!

One medical student wanted to keep me on Pre-diabetic perscription drugs "for the rest of your life".
But I had cut out all sodas and sugary OJs and followed a Nutritionist diet book " Fast Metabolism" for 18 months as my blood sugar went down.

I got the constant ear buzz, tinnitus, but this MD ignored my questions and pleas!
Finally I was told "tinnitus just develops with old age, no cause or treatment or cure."
BS!  So irresponsible!
Then I believe my lab results were falsified to keep me on these perscription drugs "for life" and make my constant buzz tinnitus Louder!

Patient Experience team lied and told me I could return the unopened drugs for full credit.
I had the hearing test and the Very painful earwax vacuum, results were normal.
Was never allowed to see a Ear Specialist MD tho I asked lots... take about an orphan illness!

I stopped taking their drugs and the tinnitus stopped getting louder.
I changed MDs, medical students.
I can only sleep with a natural sleep aid ,I had to find on my own!, Alteril pills.
I strongly distrust the VA.
Much to late, a VA RN yelled at me repeatedly, "You should never take aspirin again!" Yelling?
Any VA doctor would never confirm this.

For many months I asked for a colonoscopy.
" Never mid day at lunch, you must be sedated, and we use salt water gallon drink prep not GoLightly."
For Months I was told this.
Recent they said," yes, mid day appt is fine and always has been, no sedation is fine and always has been, and we always use GoLightly."
So many many lies.

For years they "guaranteed" their OSH green plastic trash cans, cylindrical with handles and a lid; the handles and lids aged and cracked, so just take it back for a new one!
There use to be a real garden expert at the Branham street store in SJ, but that store had way too many unstopped walkout thieves a clerk told me ,so store closed and this great guy retired. Oh and nearby Summerwinds caught fire, rebuilt and Closed! in this very rich WG-LG neighborhood. So there are Home Depots without experts.

Dad and I would go weekly to buy exactly the right nail or screw or part. Most Engineers didn't take practical Industrial Arts classes at sjsc so many know old theory but not how a pro would fix a car or house wiring problem.

This Chicken definitely Needs factory BRINING please please please overnight to improve taste and tenderness!!
So color, shape, and metal tray (versus aluminum foil) cooking are 3 Big problems.

Last pair only had a week left before "use by" date, and that's Not long enough! So it sold being too old?
I suspect it is not properly heat pasteurized because it goes bad so fast still Sealed on or Before "use by" date!
NOT RECOMMENDED. (Have been pouring a gallon on milk down the drain weekly.)
NOTE:19Aug2019, called Costco Corp office and they admitted a problem from about Nov2018 to June2019 with their milk supplier!

Here is what they should have done: "Ok, we will buy this product but, you must make for a few pennies more the side shades "Jumbo" too, for SUVs and van drivers and bus windows! These tiny side window shades are Totally Unacceptable. Deal?"

Directions say to put the rigatoni in tray, then sauce and shredded cheese, bread crumbs. Wave for 6 min. The results were just ok. If I bought again, I would boil cook the rigatoni. There were some tiny shrimp. I tasted lobster on bite 12. So maybe drop the "lobster" and add more tiny shrimp.
NOT RECOMMENDED.

Directions say to layer dry pasta, then frig thawed sauce, then chicken. Naturally, I modified it: boiled pasta in salted water, then put cooked pasta now larger and softer on bottom, then chicken rectangles , and sauce on top. Waved 8-9 minutes, let cool a bit, added fresh ground pepper and a little sea salt, plated, and,,, Enjoyed! ;)
Two dinners, ample chicken and sauce.
Plastic: 4 pouches and one unnecessary tub, recyclable??
RECOMMENDED, my way!! ;)

32 oz. of 2 hard packages.
First,the ravs are large and made of thick dough with very little filling, so not plump but rather flat looking.
On cooking only one Rav fell apart in the salted boiling water, so the ravs are well joined. How do they taste? Not so good. Very little Moz cheese. The chicken pieces are small as a pencil top erasure not dice and should have been brined for more tenderness and flavor. I used a good quality sauce but after two servings had to give all the rest to "John".
NOT RECOMMENDED.

My blood sugar never went above the line into "Diabetic", but VA Nurses and Doctors got some perverse thrill publically calling me a " you the DIABETIC" instead of "pre-diabetic", which I also asked them to never say in public, versus in private!

Today I had an eye exam at the VA and one eye doc said, "so I see you are, or were, a Diabetic."
Not interested in my struggle or preference for no such LABELS.

I got tinnitus, constant buzz in my ears 24-7, at the VA on pre-Diabetes drugs. But the VA isn't concerned, for months as buzz got Louder it seemed the VA would just ignore this "development" Constant! Buzz!

After months I got a Hearing test, ok results.

But denied an ENT Specialist after repeated requests.

"Take a day off work and let's do a brain tumor MRI first." But my big SF employer won't give me a day off for that.

Have to take 2 Alteril at dinner to sleep, my search discovery. Also had to look up "ear buzz" on WebMD all by myself.

Why do we, we Veterans, accept such poor care from the V.A.?

Politicians, for themselves and their families, usually do not go anywhere near a VA hospital or clinic, right?

So why do we Veterans, who have surrendered years of our lives and risked early death, not insist on a much better system of medical care? Did we only get cheap lip service from our elected politicians? Is that all we are worth, some pols self agrandizement?

Wasn't the waste futility incompetence lies drudgery loss of real war enough?
I'm asking every Veteran.

News says we in California are Not protected Equally like other 49 states by Constitution's 1st of Free Speech; if you say anything true and negative about your employer, you can legally be fired.

In the 90s, the 2 major trucking companies in the Midwest had a semi-driver compensation race to the bottom.  Extremely skilled and highly practically educated semi drivers lost all benefits, and watched their hourly pay deeply decline as a test to see how little they would take to drive in rollover winds and blinding snows, inspite of Teamsters Union "representation".  The same thing happened in Frisco with many charter/tour bus company owners meeting regularly to reduce costs of all quality benefits of drivers,  to trade drivers,  and even to blacklist drivers like McCarthy era Hollywood actors, some unfortunate drivers for as long as 4-18 months in California. Why such profitable company abuse of difficult class A / B commercial drivers,  when hard drug addicts from Delaney Street would be cheaper on the newly popular double-decker buses? Or dumb uneducated unskilled rookie drivers from Mexico,  let loose on our highways and byways to risk and maim us all.

I want instead to go after $300/hr lawyers,,,  and federal judges that have the gall to Not rule but only certify 6 major labor violations with over $50,000 stolen in unpaid wages from each employee over 5 years yet quickly and quietly gag ordered force a "settlement" of only $2k-$3k per,,,  and police officers who sit on badly signed corners to easily fill their monthly/weekly traffic ticket $300 each quota,,,and doctors of the VA and KP who now say to real people now "No more antibiotics. They're for dirty factory farms of crammed hogs or chickens or cows."
Let's build fair honest cheaper Robot ai versions of judges, lawyers, cops ala robocop,  doctors that can't remember even one medical field especially after 10 years from any medical school,  and CEOs!, now there is a tremendous waste of money and office space a non-ego Robot could easily replace, without any sexual assault suits or even persistent gender pay differential discrimination.

Who gets to choose which technology is pushed and does it have alot to do with the Frankenstein goal of creating like God instead of understanding and caring?

Economics in theory and practice is a very cruel unfair science.

"Labor" is a "cost", not a "benefit".
There is no "enough" profit.
There is little or no interest in workers wages and annual raises in extremely profitable businesses.

It seems to be happiest with Stock Market share price increases,  zero cost labor of slavery even child labor,  and nowadays jobs and factories leaving the Very high standard of living and very high quality of labor for 3rd world countries with extreme poverty and just o poor to average labor skills,  like China and SE Asia,  ala corroded MacBooks not inheritanty insured and at high cost and high profit,  leaving much of the USA factory-less,  industry-less,  and crushing job-less, decimating the once thriving healthy Middle Class/cash of the 1950s and 1960s.

Thus, Economics is a very sick,  very sad,  and very unjust science.

AAA Emergency Road Service got so bad over years that now there is this BIG $expensive TV PR campaign, instead of improving Service against new Competitors!

How bad did AAA Emergency Road Service get?

Instead a 1-2minute wait by Competition, just to talk to the Dispatcher, last few times it took Over 15minutes, sometimes 25 minutes!
Why?

Once you talked to the AAA Dispatcher,  even tho you had prepaid maybe $91 for 100mile tow service, 3 times, you would have to give the Dispatcher All your Information!, Not just Member # on your plastic card!, including Name,  Address,  Phone Number, Location and Problem. "We don't have access to your personal information."

And the long delay for not-the-best Tow Truck local companies was sometimes,,,  hours!
AAA use to have such good Tow Truck companies under contract.
But then I got one at Pebble Beach from Monterey who had to go back home to get his toolbox!
And the woman tow driver in the Frisco rain on a lockout who insisted on using yellow plastic wedges to "pry and probably break the driver's window, insured repair,  as I don't like to use Slim Jims." Probably break my drivers window,  in the rain,  safety glass bits everywhere!?
I excused her, she was pissed.  And waited for another, a guy who used a Slim Jim in less than 1min!

I'm not saying AAA is the worst I ever, so far,  have used,  like Ford and a wait of 5hrs in Menlo Park for an amateur Tow Truck driver from,,, Livermore,  who took a full hour to figure out how to drop the spare from the rear of a new Ford Escort van and monkey bar handle from Jack as extension to budge star wrench, my idea. 6 long hours!

AAA doesn't seem to listen to its Customers,  just does dumb Corp stuff,  like continue cutting service for same price,  and this big TV advertising Campaign.

What I Still Hate about Airplane travel.

1, You most of the time, 90% on last 5hr22mn flight, CAN NOT GET UP TO GO TO THE FILTHY BATHROOM.

2, no Wi-Fi, for Over 5HRS!?

3, No included food, or some lousy included food,  or expensive food but only enough for 1st class$. Never enough water.

4,Smaller and Tighter Coach,  Main Cabin Seating!

5, No blankets OR pillows anymore,  so bring your own.

6, Hidden fees prevent fair price comparisons.

7, Grouchy Unpleasant crew. 
     Why not online bios on the Pilot and Copilot, how many years fly commercial,  how many Airlines,  when they got their commercial license,  and crashes? The flying Customer has a Right to Know!

8, Unreasonable delays in accident basics,  should be within 3 days of retrieving the Orange Boxes,  and then take Years delaying the investigation, the the Big runway crash and the recent 80mph in a 30mph  train derailment Crash!

9,some crappy TV show instead of a Quality movie free for all.

10, airplanes don't have a public clock and countdown time to arrival on display.  Booo!

11,no fresh air jets individually on this old 767!

12, last 2 plane rides were too warm and you stuffy due to lack of enough air circulation..

Why Train travel is More Comfortable than airplanes.

1, You can get up and walk around  ,,,anytime!

2,You can go to the Bathroom,,, anytime!

3,You can get off,,, at an earlier stop!

4,No Troublesome Unseen Air Turbulence,,, sometimes with guest hitting the ceiling!

5, sleeper chairs or cabins are,,, much more affordable!

6, The view,, is usually not just boring clouds.

7,Quality trains in Japan and Western Europe are So Much Better than any passenger train in the old stunning fumbling USA.

8,trains Could have a Separate Crying Baby car!
