Having your First YARD SALE?,,, beware!

First,  we set up on the curved front driveway.
PEOPLE SNEAKED INTO THE CLOSED HOUSE! and DOOR-CLOSED GARAGE! Repeatedly!
Beware!!

Second,  we didn't  price anything.
SO MANY ARROGANT DISMISSIVE "just stuff" People offered us a pittance! A dollar.

"$5 for all 5 of those 5 classic complete 1950s board games", from a huge white Mercedes. Early in the day.

A guy in a big black Mercedes says,  "I just want the jewelry and any rare or gold coins. Got any?"  No,  and he peeled off. Early.

Third,  BEWARE OF PEOPLE KICKING DROPPING AND BREAKING Valuable Antiques!
A bamboo fly rod had a loose guide, torn off.
A ww2 samurai sword was almost pilfered! Twice!
Antique rare fishing reels were DROPPED and not carefully replaced on the table.

My Sis went inside to the PC  to find prices for some rare items, like 2 ww2 war-used helmets we let go for only $50 each.  So we were not prepared.

We were understaffed. Only 2.

We sold $1000s but probably could have made more.

We mistakenly sold the motor separate from a very small and very old sewing machine, Big mistake,  as later someone wanted both!

Oh,  beware how ILL mannered and Disrespectful most people are at Yard Sales!!
