Why doesn't every product site, like Nordstrom and Macy's, have a "MADE IN USA,,,or OTHER" filter option ?

Given a choice of buying 'made in USA' , but not puerto rico or guam,,, or 'made in china' and thus putting us deeper in debt to them, i believe most consumers want to know where there purchased goods were made.  And they should have that information before sale, not after !
