Last year, 2010, you had to tape both ends of alkaline batteries to RECYCLE THEM , that was the FEDERAL RULE!! Talk about stupid;Now you don't have to, and OSH accepts them so don't toss in your trash as TOXIC LANDFILL.

Seems the Feds were afraid they would catch on fire if not taped with masking tape on both the + and - ends,,,


Yeah, like that is a major problem, not that MOST PEOPLE JUST TOSS THEM ON THE STREET OR IN THE TRASH !!


Please properly recycle,,,we all live on the same planet, right?
