Take your 3ft length of whatever rope you like,3 strand hemp twist or fancy kernnantle and tie a single fisherman's knot with the ends.
Move this knot to the 4-5oclock position.
At the 12 oclock position, pinch the loop and make an overhand knot just big enough to fit over your air brake button.

The overhand knot of the pinched together loop will keep the AIR BRAKE LEASH on the air brake button.
And the single fisherman's knot will be easier to grab than just two loose ends.
Really saves your right hand, all day long!!
