Silicon Valley's computer speed average is about 2-12 Mbps,,,and Japan is 50 Mbps,,,isn't there somethiing baskassward therer??

Silicon Valley in California is the supposed birthplace/original factories for many computer parts,,,yet the computer and cellphone-monopoly standards are so very low,,,The former center of tech has certainly slipped,,,oh, and the car traffic design and planning really stink !!
