It wasn't that long ago ,,, that SF had LOTS OF FREE PARKING at the old concrete runway of Crissy Field ,,,and Pier 30 for big RVs and Moscone Convention waiting buses,,,Now Pier 30 is a PAID LOT, soon to be new cruise ship pier,,,But that does not mean there is not a need for idling-smog making dozens of convention buses to park with guests RVs on the Embarcadero

SF is a tourist 'nickel and diming' , UNWELCOMING place,,,


Concierges making 10-40% on ticket prices ,,,OBSCENE,,,for recommending mediocre dirty (do they ever steam clean those filthy seats ?) Grey Line bus tours ,,, over bankruptcy problems-owner MTR Western-'Tower Tour' brand name bus tours ,,, 


But corrupt (do SFPD cops still take 'contributions to their charity'? as i saw them do with Golden Brands-Miller beer distributor) incompetent bureaucratic negligent careless and often unhelpful attitude SF still has a long long way to go to be competitive, actively competitive,,,instead of resting on its lazy ass.


Good thing they are power washing the sidewalks,,,
And good thing they have finally banned feeding pigeons,,,and can now allow sidewalk dining,,,
And the last few years of open upper deck , double decker, hop on hop off tour buses ,,,and segway tours,,,is great,,,
